About Me

I'm a UX/UI Designer with roots in graphic design, and the thread that connects everything I do is curiosity. I taught myself apparel graphic design early on, long before I knew it would become a career, and that same instinct of figuring out what's needed, then go learn it, still drives how I work today.

I'm drawn to human-centered design, refining processes and getting to the root of a problem rather than patching the surface of it, and I do that by talking to people. As the only UX designer at Jakroo, conversations with users and teammates are where most of my real insight comes from, more than any tool or framework. I've also built AI-assisted workflows into my process, which lets me move fast and think wider without losing that depth.

I grew up in Puerto Rico and I'm bilingual in English and Spanish. Outside of work, I'm usually planning a bike-packing trip, rock climbing or trying new restaurants around this great city!

Right now I am...

Listening to:

Dancing Shoes by Nilüfer Yanya

Reading:

Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer

Eating at:

De Hot Pot in Flatbush, Brooklyn

Training for:

Outdoor climbing trip to Red Rock Canyon

Rock climbing in Ciales, Puerto Rico. My first time lead climbing outdoors!

Pit stop at Hudson Valley Rail Trail on our way to camp at the Gunks.

A kind local offered me a stool to sit on, which I was very greatful for, after walking 18 miles around Paris.

Let’s work together
